    profile.sh 4.0.0 released

    A major new version of profile.sh has arrived, bringing a cleaner experience, more flexibility, and stronger day-to-day productivity. It will require Bash 4.3 minimum.

    What’s new in v4.0.0:

    • A redesigned configuration system with many customizable defaults
    • A fully themable prompt, with several bundled themes including vibrant 24-bit color options
    • A significantly improved utaz, now supporting a much wider range of archive formats
    • More flexible language settings, with dynamic generation of language-switching functions
    • A broad set of new functions across many common usage scenarios
    • All functions now supports -h or --help switch
    • Dynamic alias generation from configuration files
    • Numerous quality-of-life improvements throughout the project
    • Major code quality and maintainability upgrades
    • Better and widely improved documentation
